This is the portal of Christopher Allen-Poole. I say portal because it is not just a blog and it is not intended to serve as just another blog. It’s primary purpose is to be of interest to a reader, any reader. Hopefully, that will be you.

The focus of this site will be on different facets of computer science and, for the most part, its immediately related disciplines. Much of what I discuss will revolve around coding and related techniques. I am a programmer, that is my job, and I spend the overwhelming majority of my time related to improving my abilities.

About the about

This page, of all of the pages on this site, is by far, the most likely to have, over time, an intended change in meaning. Yes, other pages will have new data appended to them, but the contents of this page, in particular, will necessarily change as I grow more aware of how I intend to use this site, what its use will be, and in which ways it will serve as a foil and in which ways it will serve as an outlet.

Yet, in order to show this change of sentiment, it seems best to include that which was originally written and its subsequent generations. Seeing as some of the best knowledge comes from unintentional archeology, I will expect that inclusion of the ruins on which the modern city has been built might provide an interested party the ability to discern more of my psyche than might otherwise be apparent.
